Deep fried white bait at the Marigold Restaurant in Chinatown (Sydney). We went there for some yum cha when my parents and my brother got home from their overseas travels. The white bait always takes a long time to come out.

One of my first photos taken with my new Panasonic GF1. Finally! A camera I can carry around with me everywhere.

My biggest problem for some time now was not having a decent camera that I could have with me at all times. I’m not a big fan of pocket sized cameras because of the compromises. I’m happy with DSLRs but its not something I can bring with me everywhere. And it can be intimidating at times where you’re just eating out and there’s a massive lens pointed right at you.

I am hoping that the GF1 is the solution to all this. So far so good!

UPDATE: Added pics from March 13 and May 16 (my dad’s birthday)
