About Me

My name is Daniel Pua and I am a Sydney based photographer who mostly does this for fun. This has been a passion of mine for just over a decade, with things going into full swing with the digital revolution.

But my obsession doesn’t stop with taking photos. I am also a bit of a nut when it comes to photography gear, wanting to try out whatever I can get my hands on. I’ve shot with all sorts of cameras and lenses over the years and now that I can actually afford things, I’ve become more fixated on trying out all sorts of cameras and lenses. But in the end (and this is something that I sometimes have to tell myself), what’s important is taking photos.

I was very much interested in landscapes when I first started out but I slowly got into other types of photography as time went on. I love to experiment and I get bored when I just focus on one or two types of photography. These days I bring my camera wherever I go and shoot whatever I see.
