I always try to take photos of these guys at the beach but this is the first time I got a nice one. A big thanks to the pelican dude for being patient and letting me take photos while it watched the sunrise. I tried to keep my distance so I wouldn’t disturb it. Eventually it saw me but it didn’t seem to mind sharing the sunrise with me.

I had to walk a fair bit since I couldn’t park the car near where I had to go. Also, I had to climb up a bunch of dangerous rocks to get up to where I needed to be. And I was so sleepy at the time (since I didn’t sleep all night and I stayed up just for this) so I felt myself swaying from time to time, drifting in and out of microsleeps. I guess I could have killed myself if I fell. I think it was worth it though :D

I love how that boat is in all the photos.
